This year Makayla wanted an all pink beach party for her birthday. The cake table was decorated with a pink table cloth and a fish net I found at the dollar store. The boys and I made coffee filter flowers and filled glass mason jars with them. I also hot glued some rustic twine and twirled it around each jar. I bought a pretty white ceramic plate from the dollar store as well and wrote a pretty saying along the edge. Baking the dish in the oven for 30 minutes at 200 degrees made the marker permanent.
A big thanks to Aunt Kim for the beautiful pink marshmallow fondant starfish on top of her cupcakes! Aunt Kim also brought frozen lemon slices that she died pink with food coloring. We put them in the pink lemonade. I added some pink plasticware to another glass mason jar to finish the table off.
